My Favourite Novel

My favourite book is Northern Lights by Philip Pullman which is part of a trilogy.  I love the sense of adventure and the main character, Lyra, who is really tough and feisty.  She goes looking for a missing friend and ends up in all sorts of situations including finding doorways into a parallel universe, very exciting!
